This past summer of 2018, Black Tie Entertainment Group was proud to provide the music for BlackStar Film Festivals Closing Awards Ceremony for the 7th year in a row. These festivities took place at one of Philadelphia’s most popular music venues, World Cafe Live. BTEG’s purpose was to provide ‘up and down’ music in-between presenters and to make sure there was never a lull in the flow of the event. Over the last several years we have been involved with the BlackStar, BTEG has also acted as the house band for the many amazing guest artists they featured such as Joi Gilliam, Bilal Oliver, Lady Alma, Phonte, Saul Williams and many more. We look forward to cultivating this relationship and continuing to build with BlackStar to create an overall beautiful and fulfilling experience for the many festival goers from all around the world.

Diner En Blanc is a phenomenon that is exploding in popularity every-where across the globe. Every major city wants to have its own DEB and to make their event as special and memorable as possible. In the summer of 2018, Wilmington, DE joined the elite list of DEB cities worldwide along with Paris, Singapore, Brisbane, Montreal, and New York. BTEG was hon-ored to be a major part of the event as the evenings only live musical entertainment. It was a beautiful event with 1,500 partygoers in attendance. The band had one mission: keep everyone dancing and hav-ing a great time. We did just that for nearly 2.5 hours straight. With Megan Nicole and Brandon Pain on vocals and members of John Legend’s horn section as our own, we had as much fun on stage as the people did in the audience. We look forward to taking the party up a notch next year.

Malcolm Jenkins is currently one of the most highly respected and gifted players in the NFL. His foundation aims to empower and uplift under-served youth in New Jersey, Louisiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. His yearly fundraiser is exactly the type of event BTEG loves to be associated with. For the 4th year in a row, we provided sexy, yet very classy back-ground music for the duration of the event as the attendees enjoyed dinner, drinks and biding on the silent auction at the Lincoln Financial Fields LINC.
