This past August, BTEG was proud to provide music for the Closing Award Ceremony for the BlackStar Film Festival for the 7th year in a row. The event took place at one of Philadelphia’s most well-known and popular music venues, World Cafe Live. Our purpose was to provide ‘up and down’ music in-between presenters and to make sure there was never a lull in the energy. We also operated as the house band for the many amazing artists that BlackStar has brought in over the years, such as Joi Gilliam, Bilal, Lady Alma, Phonte, Saul Williams, and many more eclectic artists. We look forward to cultivating this relationship and continuing to build with BlackStar to create an overall beautiful and fulfilling experience for the many festival goers from all across the globe.
